Runner-type kernels from Gujarat and Rajasthan typically run 45–50% oil, ≤ 8% moisture, ≤ 1% admixture and ≤ 2% splits after grading, with colour sorting and metal detection before bagging. Buyers choose Bold over Java when they want a larger, rounder kernel with a milder profile and better yield through a butter line; Java is the choice where a smaller, sweeter, higher-count nut suits confectionery coating.
