CBIL is a commodity brokerage company and brokers the secondary lipid and oleochemical streams from vegetable oil refining and biodiesel processing: palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD) from physical refining and vegetable acid oil from chemical refining soapstock acidulation, bought on free fatty acid and TFM by HVO, SAF and biodiesel biorefineries, feed-fat compounders (EU Feed Catalogue 13.6.1) and soap makers; crude glycerine, bought on glycerol content, MONG and ash by refiners and epichlorohydrin plants, and refined USP/BP glycerine by pharma and personal-care users; and palm-based stearic acid, bought on iodine value, titre and colour by rubber, PVC, candle and cosmetics plants. The supply is concentrated in Southeast Asia and South America. The 2025 export declarations under HS 3823 (fatty acids, including PFAD, vegetable acid oils and stearic acid) show Indonesia at 5.77 million MT (USD 1,313/MT average), Malaysia at 3.22 million MT (USD 1,410), Argentina at 0.28 million MT (USD 609, dominant in soybean acid oil) and the USA at 0.27 million MT; under HS 1520 Indonesia exported 0.91 million MT of glycerol at USD 543/MT, Brazil 0.68 million MT at USD 498 and Malaysia 0.13 million MT at USD 538. We work each enquiry against SGS or Intertek certification on the buyer's own sheet, structure chemical-tanker parcels, flexitanks, ISO tanks and bagged container lots on FOB, CFR and CIF terms, and because CBIL also runs a chartering desk (LaycanDesk) that works product and chemical tankers, the freight leg is quoted with the cargo.

Excluded origins are not offered, including product re-exported, blended or re-processed through a third country. Every lot moves with a certificate of origin naming the producing plant, mine or grower country, and nothing is quoted before the seller and loading point are known.

Which oleochemical products does CBIL broker in bulk?
Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD 70-95% FFA) and vegetable acid oils (soapstock acid oil TFM ≥ 95%) for HVO biorefineries, soap and animal feed; crude glycerine (80-92% glycerol) for refining and epichlorohydrin; refined USP/BP glycerine (99.5% min) for pharma, food and cosmetics; and triple-pressed stearic acid for rubber and PVC stabilizers.
What certifications are required for biofuel feedstock oleochemicals?
PFAD, acid oils and crude glycerine destined for European renewable diesel (HVO) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) processing must carry valid Proof of Sustainability (PoS) under ISCC EU or ISCC PLUS, confirming GHG emission savings and supply-chain traceability.
How are liquid and solid oleochemicals transported?
Liquid oleochemicals (PFAD, crude and refined glycerine, acid oils) move in dedicated chemical parcel tankers, 20-24 MT flexitanks with heating pads, or ISO tanks. Refined glycerine also moves in 250 kg food-grade drums and IBCs. Solid stearic acid is shipped as beads or flakes in 25 kg paper bags or jumbo bags in dry containers.
