Steel Billets, Coil, Rebar & Wire Rod

CBIL brokers the four steel products that move in bulk breakbulk: continuous-cast billets (3SP, 5SP, Q235 / Q275) for re-rolling mills, hot-rolled coil (SS400, S235JR, ASTM A36, SAE 1006 / 1008) for pipe mills, cold rollers and fabricators, deformed rebar (BS 4449 B500B, ASTM A615 Grade 60, IS 1786 Fe 500) for contractors and stockists, and wire rod (SAE 1006 / 1008, mesh and high-carbon grades) for wire drawers and mesh plants. UN Comtrade 2025 export declarations put the seaborne trade at 7.40 Mt of billets from Brazil, 2.94 Mt of coil from Indonesia, 1.73 Mt of rebar from Malaysia and 1.46 Mt from Oman, and 1.29 Mt of wire rod from Malaysia, with Gulf DRI-based mills declaring USD 100–200/MT above scrap-based Southeast Asian origins. Every parcel is contracted against mill test certificates to the named standard and third-party inspection, and because CBIL runs a chartering desk the Handysize, Supramax or multipurpose freight is quoted with the cargo on FOB, CFR and CIF terms.
