CBIL brokers the pulse and grain complex — Kabuli and Desi chickpeas by calibre, red and green lentils (whole and split), pigeon peas (toor), mung beans, urad, kidney beans (rajma), black-eyed peas and yellow/green split peas — alongside millets (pearl, foxtail, finger), sorghum and milling wheat from Canadian and Australian origins. Lots are machine-cleaned, Sortex-sorted and graded to count-per-100g or screen size, certified by SGS for moisture, foreign matter, damaged and broken grain, with phytosanitary and fumigation documentation for your destination. Buyers include dal mills, retail packers, canners, HORECA distributors and institutional programmes. Supply is structured in 25kg and 50kg bags container-load on FOB, CFR and CIF terms against current-crop material.

Excluded origins are not offered, including product re-exported, blended or re-processed through a third country. Every lot moves with a certificate of origin naming the producing plant, mine or grower country, and nothing is quoted before the seller and loading point are known.

Pulses & Grains — buyer questions
How are pulses graded?
By size and soundness. Kabuli chickpeas are contracted by calibre in millimetres (7 to 10 mm) and checked by count per 100 g; black-eyed beans and mung beans by count or seed size; lentils by type and size; dried peas by colour, splits and bleach. Purity, moisture, foreign matter, damaged and weevilled seed and crop year are certified on every lot.
Which origins ship which pulses?
Myanmar for pigeon peas, mung beans and black-eyed beans; Canada for lentils, dried peas and chickpeas; Australia for chickpeas and lentils; India for desi chickpeas, millets and sorghum; Tanzania, Mozambique and Malawi for pigeon peas. Origin is quoted explicitly because grain size, colour and milling yield differ between origins.
Does crop year matter?
Yes. Older pulses harden, which lengthens cooking time and cuts a canner's yield, and the skin colour dulls. Current crop is shipped by default and carry-over is disclosed; crop year is written into the certificate.
How are pulses packed and shipped?
In 25 kg and 50 kg polypropylene bags or 1 MT jumbo bags in containers, machine-cleaned and colour-sorted, with a phytosanitary certificate and fumigation to the destination's rules. Dried peas and sorghum also ship in bulk vessels.
