CBIL is a commodity brokerage company and brokers spices by origin and by the specification that actually moves a contract. From India: turmeric by curcumin percentage (2–5%), red chilli graded by ASTA colour and Scoville heat (Teja S17, Byadgi, Guntur 334), cumin seed 99/1 and 99/2, coriander seed (Eagle and Scooter), fennel, fenugreek, Tellicherry and Malabar pepper and green cardamom. Beyond India: black pepper from Vietnam (500 and 550 g/l), Brazil (ASTA and B1) and Indonesia (Lampung black, Muntok white); Ceylon cinnamon from Sri Lanka by SLS 81 grade (Alba, C5, C4) and cassia from China, Indonesia (Korintje) and Vietnam against coumarin; cloves from Indonesia, Madagascar and Zanzibar; nutmeg and mace from Indonesia, Grenada and India; star anise from China and Vietnam; paprika from Spain (Pimentón de la Vera PDO), China and Peru by ASTA colour; and vanilla beans from Madagascar, Uganda, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea by moisture and vanillin. Lots move against a certificate of analysis for moisture, volatile oil, aflatoxin, ochratoxin A and pesticide residue to EU and US limits, steam-sterilised or with an ETO-free statement for the EU, plus phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin. We serve spice grinders, blenders, retail packers, seasoning and meat-processing houses, extract and oleoresin manufacturers on FOB, CFR and CIF terms in container-load quantities.
Excluded origins are not offered, including product re-exported, blended or re-processed through a third country. Every lot moves with a certificate of origin naming the producing plant, mine or grower country, and nothing is quoted before the seller and loading point are known.
