Biscuits and bakery wares are HS 1905, and they trade by the carton in 20-ft and 40-ft containers under the factory's brand or the buyer's private label. UN Comtrade 2024 export declarations put the whole heading at USD 50.58 billion and about 12.05 million MT, with Canada and Germany at 11.3% each, Italy 9.3%, Poland 6.8% and Belgium 6.2%. At 6-digit level, sweet biscuits (1905.31) come to USD 12.13 billion, led by Mexico, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Canada; waffles and wafers (1905.32) to USD 6.89 billion, led by Poland, Italy, Germany, Canada, Türkiye and Belgium; and other bakers' wares (1905.90), which holds crackers and packaged cakes alongside bread and pastry, to USD 35.27 billion.

The buyers are importer-distributors, wholesalers, cash-and-carry and convenience chains and supermarket private-label desks. CBIL is a commodity brokerage company and brokers five product groups: sweet biscuits and butter cookies, cream and sandwich biscuits, wafers, crackers and savoury biscuits, and long-life cakes and croissants. Each lot moves against the competent-authority health certificate, the factory's certificate of analysis, a certificate of origin, a halal certificate from a body the destination accepts, and label artwork checked for the market before printing. Halal lines use plant-based shortening with the E471 emulsifier source declared. EU labels emphasise the 14 Annex II allergens under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, US labels declare the nine major allergens with sesame included since 2023, and Gulf labels follow GSO 9 in Arabic. EU acrylamide benchmark levels under Regulation (EU) 2017/2158 are 350 µg/kg for biscuits and wafers and 400 µg/kg for crackers, and RSPO palm claims follow the certified supply chain model. Minimum orders are the factory's, from standard-pack cartons to container programmes. Cartons ship palletised in dry containers, with reefers quoted for coated lines on hot-season routes, on FOB, CFR and CIF terms.
