We arrange 25kg/50kg bags in containers with SGS grading, fumigation and phytosanitary certification. Excluded origins are not offered, including product re-exported, blended or re-processed through a third country. Every lot moves with a certificate of origin naming the producing plant, mine or grower country, and nothing is quoted before the seller and loading point are known.

Rice — buyer questions
What does 5% broken mean?
A maximum of 5% by weight of the lot is broken kernels rather than whole grains. It is the main price step in white rice: 5%, 15% and 25% are the standard rungs. Broken rice cooks and eats much the same, so the grade should follow whether your customer sees the grain.
Raw, steam or Sella (parboiled)?
Sella is parboiled in the husk, which hardens the kernel: fewer brokens through milling and a long voyage, and a cooked grain that stays firm and separate, which is why high-volume kitchens take it. Steam rice cooks non-sticky and keeps a whiter grain. Raw white is the most aromatic and the least tolerant of careless cooking.
Basmati or non-basmati long grain?
Basmati (1121, 1509, 1718, 1401 and the traditional varieties) is bought on grain length, ageing and variety purity, from India and Pakistan. Non-basmati long grain such as IR64, IRRI-6 and long-grain white is bought on broken percentage, chalky grain and crop year, from India, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam.
How is rice packed and shipped?
In 25 kg and 50 kg polypropylene bags in containers; IRRI-6 and IR64 also move breakbulk for larger programmes. Retail packs of 5 and 10 kg are supplied on the aromatic and speciality grades.
