Grape Juice Concentrate (Red & White 65-68 °Brix, RCGM)

Non-alcoholic red and white grape juice concentrate and rectified grape sugar for beverages, food and sweetening

Grape juice concentrate is non-alcoholic grape juice evaporated to 65-68 °Brix and packed aseptically, and it is bought for three jobs: as the base of grape juice and juice drinks, as colour and body in blended juices, and as a natural fruit sweetener in food. Red grape juice concentrate is specified on Brix, acidity as tartaric acid and colour intensity - Spanish producers offer colour from about 100 to 2,000 points - and white grape juice concentrate on Brix, acidity and a pale yellow to golden colour. Rectified concentrated grape must (RCGM) is the refined end of the range: grape juice from which acids, minerals, colour, tannins and phenols are removed, leaving a clear, neutral, odourless liquid of the grape's own glucose and fructose at 65-70 °Brix, sold to food and beverage makers as a grape sugar that sweetens without adding taste. Reconstituted grape juice sold in the EU must reach at least 15.9 °Brix under Directive 2012/12/EU, and the Codex general standard for fruit juices (CXS 247-2005) sets 16.0 °Brix. UN Comtrade 2024 export declarations for grape juice above 30 °Brix (HS 2009.69) total USD 660 million and about 356,000 MT across reporters: Spain USD 275 million and about 152,900 MT at an average USD 1,796/MT, Argentina USD 108 million and 68,532 MT, Chile USD 89 million and 42,093 MT, the USA USD 57 million and about 32,100 MT, Italy USD 55 million and about 23,700 MT, and Türkiye USD 9 million and 4,260 MT. Under HS 2009.61 (30 °Brix or less) Italy declared USD 69 million and about 105,900 MT and Spain USD 42 million and about 79,400 MT.

The buyer is a juice and juice drink packer, a soft drink bottler, a confectionery, bakery, jam or cereal bar producer looking for a fruit-based sweetener, or an ingredients distributor, and the offer is a price per tonne for a stated product, Brix, colour and packing. CBIL is a commodity brokerage company and brokers grape juice concentrate and RCGM strictly as non-alcoholic juice products for beverages, food and sweetening, from Spanish, Italian, Argentine, Chilean, US and Turkish processors on FCA, FOB, CFR and CIF terms, against the processor's certificate of analysis for Brix, acidity, colour and microbiology, an ethanol result on the COA within the limit stated on the halal certificate, pesticide residue results against EU or US maximum residue levels, a certificate of origin, a health or phytosanitary certificate as the destination requires, a halal certificate from the destination's accepted certifier and authenticity checks to the AIJN Code of Practice, with SGF/IRMA certification where the buyer's system requires it. Aseptic concentrate travels in a sterile bag inside a 200-220 litre drum, in IBCs or in bulk, and ships in 20-ft dry containers; one supplier gives an 18-24 month shelf life for aseptic grape concentrate. Send the product (red, white or RCGM), Brix, colour, end use, packing, volume and discharge port, and the enquiry is screened and worked against it.

Excluded origins are not offered, including product re-exported, blended or re-processed through a third country. Every lot moves with a certificate of origin naming the producing plant, mine or grower country, and nothing is quoted before the seller and loading point are known.
