Fenugreek Seeds
Methi seed for spice, extraction & nutraceutical use
CBIL brokers Indian fenugreek seed (methi) from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh — machine-cleaned, Sortex-sorted and gravity-separated to 99% purity, supplied whole or ground. Fenugreek carries a dual demand profile that shapes the specification: the spice trade buys it as a curry-powder and pickle-masala base where uniform colour and low admixture matter, while the nutraceutical and extraction trade buys it for diosgenin, 4-hydroxyisoleucine and galactomannan-rich gum, where the active-constituent assay is the specification that prices the lot. Tell us which side you are buying for and we will source accordingly.
Every lot ships against SGS or Intertek certification of purity, moisture, ash, admixture, heavy metals and pesticide residue, with steam-sterilised and ETO-free options for EU and US entry and organic-certified lots where required. Buyers include spice grinders and masala manufacturers, pickle and condiment producers, nutraceutical and ayurvedic formulators, botanical extractors and animal-feed compounders. Supply is arranged in 25kg and 50kg PP or jute bags, container-load, on FOB, CFR and CIF terms.

Fenugreek Seeds — buyer questions
Is spice-grade fenugreek the same as extraction-grade?
Not really. Spice buyers care about colour uniformity, low admixture and aroma. Extraction and nutraceutical buyers care about active-constituent assay — diosgenin, 4-hydroxyisoleucine or galactomannan — which is what sets their price. Specifying the wrong one means either overpaying or receiving material that fails your assay.
Do you supply organic-certified fenugreek?
Yes, subject to crop availability. Organic lots ship with valid certification for your destination scheme alongside the standard SGS pesticide-residue and heavy-metal certification.
Ready to source Fenugreek?
Send your quantity, specification, preferred Incoterms and destination port. We'll verify supply and respond with a workable offer — usually within one business day.
